Good luck with this incredibly important purchase. Historic churches have a vital part to play in community life, even within our secular society. They are atmospheric venues for arts events as well as Quiet places in a crazy world. They are part of the indefinable magic of local distinctiveness.

I have visited the church twice and enjoyed the exhibitions. I hope you get the funding you need to keep the church as a venue for preserving Eigg's history & culture.
