Yesterday, we submitted our Expression of Interest to Historic Environment Scotland's "Repair Fund". For us it is a crucial piece of work to have completed as it meant a very detailed look into the cost of replacing the leaking skews, insulating the roof, getting rid of the cement rendering and relacing with a breathing lime render, digging roper drains round the building and insulating the floor against the rising damp. It also means identifying the right funding package,and that's not simple! So we are crossign our fingers we will be invited to submit a full application. If we are, it will be another piece of the jigsaw in place on our journey to community acquisition!
